CheckPoint Twitch Channel

Following the success of Great Games Done Slow, Non-profit organisation CheckPoint is launching their own Twitch Channel. Spearheaded by Big_Bad_Kaiju, they have already recruited a number of streamers, both experienced and newcomers alike. Those set to contribute regularly are Vandalized, LieseInWonderland, TheMugbearer, prettycar and many more.
“The CheckPoint streaming channel is our project to provide a safe, positive space for people who love gaming and who might need somewhere to discuss mental health issues.” says Kaiju “Having our own channel staffed by folks who believe gaming is a force for good has been a dream of mine as it lets people know that there are spaces out there where they can feel welcome and without judgement.”
All streams will be a safe space to discuss and educate fans about mental health, mindfulness and of course videogames. In between streams, CheckPoint will be showing reruns of The CheckPoint Series, helping to further the discussion around mental health. The first stream will kick off on Monday Oct 1st at 6pm AEST.
